There are many ways to get involved in protecting your contract and advocating for your rights and working conditions. Please consider some of the following examples:

• Help distribute information on AEA programs and opportunities, such as the AEA Scholarship Fund (Jeans Day) and Teacher Appreciation Day
• Help support local, state, and national public education-friendly candidates this fall with canvassing or phone banking. Your help is greatly appreciated!
• Become an Association Representative for your building to help your colleagues stay informed and feel supported.
• Volunteer to be on the AEA legislative committee, which interviews candidates for school board elections and statewide elected offices.
